Black Sheep Chocolate Orange Stout 500ml

In 1992, Paul Theakston took a big leap into the unknown. As a fifth generation brewer of his family company, he chose to leave T&R Theakstons following its sale to a national brewery. Instead, he chose to champion independent brewing in Yorkshire and built his own brewery from reclaimed equipment in the very same town, Masham. Paul is the Black Sheep.

A match made in heaven! Arguably two of the most loved flavours of chocolate and orange combine perfectly in this rich and deep stout. Big chocolate notes arise from the blend of dark chocolate malt that we use in the mash.Flaked oats are also used to add a velvet-like body which works wonders for this particular style of beer. Dried orange peel is introduced in the hop back to add a subtle citrus note to this flavour packed ale. 6.1% abv.
