Little Giant Single Vineyard Barossa Shiraz 2019

The southern hairy-nose wombat is smaller than other wombats but is stocky, robust and the proud state emblem of South Australia.

Like the might of the little wombat, this Little Giant is crafted from a small, single vineyard in the Light Pass sub-region of the famed Barossa Valley of South Australia. The old vine shiraz grapes deliver character and intensity well above their size and weight. Hand-crafted and made with minimal additions and preservatives, these are wines made of the vineyard.

The Light Pass district of the Barossa Valley is notorious for producing typical dark plum, red licorice, chocolate and mocha flavours adding texture and freshness. This is a contemporary Barossa Shiraz having spent maturation time in older oak adding subtle vanilla and earthy characters. There’s softness on the finish while maintaining rich lingering flavours and vibrancy. Pair with a classic roast beef and horseradish. 14.5% abv.
