An undisputed king of the Australian wine industry, d'Arenberg was established by Joseph Osborn in 1912 in the McLaren Vale region of South Australia.

Over a century on, the fourth-generation winemaker, Chester Osborn, leads the winemaking team nurturing their old-vines and producing some of Australia's most recognized & awarded red wines.

Joseph Osborn was a successful racehorse owner and Footbolt was the pride of his stable. In 1912 he made the hard decision to sell his horses to purchase the d’Arenberg property. A decision later he would never regret.

Vivid, deep purple-crimson. Aromas of blackberries, plum and boysenberries brings a fragrant perfumed bouquet. The palate carries an array of black fruits, plums, cassis, black cherries and a savoury dark chocolate finish makes this wine irresistible. Velvety and well-integrated tannins shows a perfect balance between the ripe fruit and the oak maturation. Formidable McLaren Vale Shiraz made in inimitable d’Arenberg style. 14.5% ABV
